How parts work
Every repair that needs a part works one of two ways — you pick whichever suits you.
I'll send you a link to the exact part your device needs. You order it, have it shipped to your house, and bring it with the device. I'll get the repair done same day whenever possible — you just pay the labor.
I order the part for you and add the part cost plus shipping to your bill. Once parts are ordered, that portion is non-refundable (barring unusual circumstances), since parts can't always be returned. Receipts and tracking are provided on request, so you can see exactly what everything cost.
Don't see your issue? Submit a request and I'll get back to you with a quote.
A simple, honest process.
Tell me about the device and what's wrong. Takes 2 minutes.
I'll reply with a labor estimate and any parts needed.
Bring it by in Aurora or set a time that works.
You get the device back with a plain-English rundown of what was done.
Straight answers before you drop off.
Where are you located and what areas do you serve?+
Pixel Perfect is a home-based repair shop in Aurora, CO, serving Aurora, Denver, and the surrounding Denver metro (Centennial, Englewood, Lakewood, and nearby). Drop-off, pickup, and on-site visits are all by appointment — reach out through the request form and I'll set a time that works.
How does the diagnostic fee work?+
Simple: the diagnostic is free if you accept the repair, or if it turns out no repair is actually needed. The only time there's a fee is if a repair is recommended and you decide not to proceed — then it's $50 flat. For obvious jobs (a clearly cracked screen, a battery swap, a fresh OS install), no separate diagnostic is needed at all.
What should I expect from data recovery?+
I handle logical recovery — deleted files, corrupted partitions, failing but still-spinning drives, and file-system damage. Success depends on the drive's condition, so I'll always give you an honest read after the initial look. The $60/hr rate covers labor only; you'll need to supply (or purchase from me) a destination drive large enough to hold the recovered data. Physical / cleanroom recovery (opening a sealed drive, replacing platters or heads) is specialty work I don't do in-shop — if that's what your drive needs, I'll tell you and refer you to a trusted specialist rather than risk your data.
How are battery diagnostics handled?+
Battery testing is included as part of any tune-up or repair intake — no separate charge. If a replacement is the right call, it's $45 labor plus the cost of the battery. I'll show you the health report (cycle count, wear level, charging behavior) before recommending a swap so you're not paying for a battery you don't actually need.
How do liquid-damage diagnostics work?+
Liquid damage requires a full teardown, board inspection, and cleaning assessment — much more involved than a normal check. It's a $40 flat fee, repair or no repair. After inspection I'll give you a clear repair-vs-replace recommendation with a firm quote; I won't push a repair that costs more than the device is worth.
Do you guarantee the work?+
Yes — my labor is guaranteed against workmanship issues for 30 days. Parts I install (or approved parts you order after I've vetted the specs) carry the manufacturer's warranty. I don't warranty parts brought in at intake that I haven't reviewed beforehand.
Full details? Send them over.
Prefer the long form? Include everything and I'll reply with a quote and next steps — usually same day.
How I work — the short version.
A quick overview of my policies so there are no surprises. A full service agreement covering warranty and liability will be signed in person before any repair work begins.
Pixel Perfect is a home-based shop in Aurora, CO. All drop-offs, pickups, and on-site work are by appointment — no walk-ins.
Free if you accept the repair, or if no repair is needed. $50 flat only if a repair is recommended and you decide not to proceed.
No repair work begins and no parts are ordered until you've reviewed and agreed to the full quote — labor, parts, and shipping. Nothing surprise-billed.
You can order the parts yourself (Amazon is usually fastest — I'll give you the exact specs and can double-check your cart before you buy). Or I can order for you: parts + shipping are paid up front and are non-refundable once shipped. Cost receipts are available on request, and I'll happily source a cheaper alternative if one exists.
All of my labor is guaranteed against workmanship issues for 30 days. Parts I install — or parts you order after I've approved the specs — carry the manufacturer's warranty. Parts brought in at intake without prior review are not covered.
Cash, Card, CashApp, Venmo, or PayPal. Labor is due at completion; parts (if I'm ordering) are paid up front.
Because this is a small, independent, home-based operation — not a big-box shop with a warehouse of parts. The quote-first, approval-first approach keeps my prices low and keeps everything transparent for you.
Independent. Local. Straight-shooting.
